Popcorn Balls

2 c white sugar
1 c corn syrup
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1 Tbsp butter
1/2 tsp soda
6 qts popped corn

Cook first ingredients to hard balls. Remove them from heat and add soda. Pour over popcorn and form it into balls.

Syrup for Popcorn Balls

1/2 c brown sugar
1c white sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 c dark corn syrup
1 c thin cream
2 Tbsp butter

Boil until hard in cold water. Pour over ____ of popped corn. Make into balls.
