Divinity Candy

1 c sugar
1 c water
Boil until a heavy thread forms
Pour into stiffly beaten whites of 3 eggs
Add vanilla

3 c sugar
1 c white Karo syrup
1/2 c water
Boil until it cracks in cold water
Pour into first and beat, until it will hold its shape when dropped onto wax paper

I put both syrups on to boil at the same time
