2 chicken breasts, skinned and boned
1/8 tsp. dried basil leaves, crushed
1/8 tsp. salt
3 thin slices cooked ham
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 Tb. oil
Paprika
Place chicken breasts skinned side down on board, pound 1/4″ thickness. Combine, basil, salt, pepper, and garlic salt, sprinkle on chicken. Place 1 1/2 slices of ham on each chicken breast to cover. Roll up lengthwise with ham inside. Place both rolls, seam side down, in 10″ x 6″ x 1/1/2 x baking dish. Drizzle with lemon juice and oil. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until chicken is tender. Chill, cut into 1/4″ slices. Serve with buttered slice of party rye bread. Makes about 24 slices.
